The Beginning of Linglong Tires

 Linglong tires is a Chinese tire-producing company, which came into existence in 1975. The company is known as the Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. It currently ranks in the top 20 tire manufacturers around the globe and 5th in China. They started manufacturing bias tires in 1987 and were the largest bias tire producer nationwide at that time. 

 

Their yearly production reached the value of RMB 100.36 million in 1991. Before the 2000s they use to manufacture only TBR tires and in the first quarter of 2001, they started PCR tires production line also as they understood the market demand very well.

Linglong has five manufacturing facilities in China and their PCR tires are mostly manufactured in the facilities that is located in Thailand. Recently they have invested in a facility which is in Serbia and that could target the demand over that side of the globe. The Serbian plant has the capacity of manufacturing around 13.6 million tires yearly. It took them 2 years to establish that plant and it has started its production in the last quarter of 2021.


The company’s current brand value is around RMB 59.672 billion yuan which was recorded in 2021. They have been dominating the market for 47 years now and have a excellent global presence and reputation because of their quality tires.
